Fall semester starts a week from today! It’s been a busy summer, that’s for sure! Work, attending the ALA Annual Conference, and taking a summer school course have all contributed to a full summer “break.”
I’ve got a couple of to-do lists going on, one in my head and one on Remember the Milk. Tonight, while cooking some Dixie Lee Peas from yesterday’s Raleigh Farmers Market visit, I cleaned off and organized my spice shelf, tossing a bunch of expired spices. Ick! Grocery shopping and cooking ahead are on my official to-do list, but cleaning off my spice shelf falls into the Wahoo! category. (Yes, I found a few duplicate spices that haven’t expired, but that’s a small price to pay.)
Now, if only my pantry, closets, and drawers were going to be that easy to organize in this week before school begins! Who knows, maybe they will be, once I start!
