What We Found on a Rainy Vacation Day

Earlier this week, George and I went on vacation in the southwestern mountains of North Carolina. Most of the time, we were able to dodge the rain, but on one particular afternoon, we got caught in a downpour! Fortunately, we had just found the Moss Memorial Library (part of the Nantahala Regional Library) in Hayesville, and right across the street was the Friends of the Library Bookstore! George and I both enjoyed searching the book store shelves, and by the time we’d finished made our purchases, the rain had stopped. The volunteer was very helpful, to boot, and gave us great advice on where to grab a late lunch.
