Citations (Thing 14, CPD23)

It’s been more than a few years since I’ve had to deal with citations, so I enjoyed reading this post from 23 Things for Professional Development in a “vegetables, they’re good for you!” way! I wasn’t familiar with any of the research citation managers mentioned, so I randomly signed up for citeulike, and found a citation to create for my citation library. It felt a little cumbersome, but I chalk that up to a long-standing lack of practice. I like the fact that citeulike is web-based and accessible in any browser. When time permits, maybe I’ll give Zotero (a Firefox plug-in) and/or Mendeley (a download) a try too. I have some papers due this semester for Foundations class, so I need the practice!
